SYPIK AUSTRALIA – NPL Invitational 2025 set for Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club
Kooyong 🤝 pickleball
Few venues in Australia carry the same prestige as the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club. Once the stage for the Australian Open and still home to the storied Kooyong Classic, the historic club has long been synonymous with racquet sport excellence.
This December, that legacy takes a bold new step. From 4–7 December 2025, Kooyong will host the first-ever National Pickleball League Invitational, a landmark event bringing together Australia’s and Asia’s best professional pickleball players alongside a select field of amateurs.
For pickleball, it’s more than just another tournament. It’s also a symbolic moment. One of the world’s most beautiful tennis clubs, embracing one of the world’s fastest-growing sports… it’s history in the making.
The Invitational: Exclusive, progressive, and global
The Sypik Australia NPL Invitational 2025 marks the first ever invitational event in Australian professional pickleball history, and the first professional pickleball tournament ever held at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club.
The field will be exclusive, with 24 players in pro singles and 24 teams in pro doubles.
Competition will run through a progressive knockout format, beginning with the Round of 32 on Thursday and building toward a Championship Sunday finale.

A new partnership: NPL x Sypik Australia
The Invitational also marks the beginning of a new chapter for NPL partnerships. Sypik Australia has come on board as naming rights partner, bringing one of Vietnam’s leading pickleball brands into the Australian market.
Founded in 2023, Sypik has quickly built a reputation for premium paddles, apparel, and accessories across Asia. Their collaboration with NPL signals not just commercial support, but a stronger bridge between Australian and Asian pickleball communities.
The announcement follows NPL’s media release earlier this year, outlining ambitions to create a “celebration of pickleball” that showcases elite competition while opening the sport to fans and newcomers alike
