Question 1

What is the ticket for?

Accepted Answer

Your $15 ticket gets you into one 2-hour team session. That's less than a normal program at The Jar HQ.

Question 2

I don't have a full team.

Accepted Answer

You can still enter. If you're on your own or only have 2 or 3 players, just buy your tickets (1, 2 or 3). The Jar/NPL will fill your team and let you know at least one week before the event.

Question 3

Which level am I?

Accepted Answer

You judge yourself. As a guide: DUPR under 3.5 = Beginner, 3.5 to 4.5 = Intermediate. No DUPR? Play socially or newer to the game - go Beginner.

Question 4

Can I play more than one session?

Accepted Answer

Yes - you'll just need a separate ticket for each session. Each ticket gets you into that session's teams event.

Question 5

How does it work?

Accepted Answer

4 players per team. 10-minute timed round robin games - with 5 minutes left, 2 players switch in and the score keeps counting up. Minimum 3 round robin games, then quarter finals, semi finals and a final. One winning team per session, with a running leaderboard comparing the winners from each session.

Question 6

What can we win?

Accepted Answer

The winning team in each session takes home 12-month Jar memberships (from NPL) + an Elite Supplements year-long prize.

Question 7

Can friends and family come?

Accepted Answer

Yes - spectators are free. Come for the DJ, the bar, the food and the finals.

Question 8

Who's playing?

Accepted Answer

Everyone - plus some of the Elite Supplements athletes, including Sam Lalor (AFL), Reilley Batcheldor (netball) and Jack Jenkins (UFC).

Question 9

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are on Eventbrite. Refunds are available up to 5 days before the event.

Question 10

Who do I contact with questions?

Accepted Answer

Email info@nplpickleball.com.au or maidstone@thejar.club, or ask us at the front desk at The Jar.
