One of the world's best drops in at PARK – The Gap

One of the best pickleball players arrived at PARK - The Gap recently! Thanks for coming, Christian.

PPA Tour pro Christian Alshon visited PARK – The Gap and played on our courts. He arrived on a hot streak: Christian and partner Andrei Daescu are back-to-back PPA Tour Men's Doubles champions, and right now they look unstoppable.

Christian is one of the top players in the world, with a stack of PPA Tour titles across singles, doubles and mixed. Before pickleball he played tennis at the top level, winning an NCAA singles title with the University of Chicago. He picked up a pickleball paddle two weeks later and turned pro the following year. He's known for tweeners and trick shots, and it was great to see them up close in Brisbane.

Christian’s visit was a real highlight for us. The whole club was buzzing, with members, coaches and staff all excited to see him play up close and have a chat. Having one of the world’s best on our courts this early in PARK’s story made it feel like something special is happening here.
