Three Sports. One Club. PARK is officially open.

Tennis, pickleball and padel under one roof. One brand. One voice. One digital key. And a club built for everyone.
The first PARK venue in the country, PARK – The Gap has officially launched, and it's the blueprint for a new type of racquet sport.
A new model for racquet sport
PARK is built around a simple idea: bring the three racquet sports- tennis, pickleball and padel under one brand, one system and one venue. Together, they create something bigger: a club where beginners and experienced players, social players and competitors, can all find their place.
“Each offers something different. Tennis has decades of history and expertise behind it. Pickleball is accessible and easy to pick up. Padel sits somewhere in between” says Steve Miller, owner of PARK – The Gap and The PARK Club.
Steve brings decades of tennis experience and venue ownership. The National Pickleball League (NPL) brings modern operations, marketing and technology, with pickleball embedded into the PARK model. Tennis Australia brings expertise, relationships and growth-partner alignment across the broader tennis and racquet sport ecosystem. Together, PARK draws on the expertise of each partner under one brand.

PARK – The Gap: the blueprint
“Three sports under one umbrella, one reception, one team learning to think ‘PARK’ first, not ‘tennis’ or ‘pickleball’ or ‘padel’. That’s the challenge - and the opportunity,” Steve says.“The best way for tennis to thrive is not to compete with these sports, but to welcome them. Have all three side by side. Something for everyone”.
PARK – The Gap brings the blueprint. Already an established tennis destination, it has the space, infrastructure and community to become something more. The result is one of the few Australian venues where tennis, pickleball and padel sit together in one premium environment. A club designed to modernise existing racquet infrastructure while creating an environment that can grow with the sports.
“PARK allows us to branch out from pickleball while still getting the benefit of adding pickleball courts and growing a pickleball community,” says Ron Shell, CEO of NPL. “At a PARK venue, you know what to expect.”
But bringing three sports together is about more than adding courts. PARK is a licensed racquet club brand - with a shared identity, systems and operating standards across independently owned and operated venues. That structure is intentional, it allows PARK to work with existing tennis centres looking to modernise, grow participation and rebuild community.
The Gap is the first, more locations are planned over the next three to six months.

Built together. Designed to scale.
PARK is the club.
NPL is the pickleball engine inside it.
Tennis Australia is a growth partner across the ecosystem.
The partnerships are crucial at PARK. NPL brings in modern technology, marketing and proven operational expertise alongside the deep tennis understanding from Steve Miller. Through PARK, that collaboration extends into broader racquet-club revitalisation.
Tennis For Kids is PARK’s preferred tennis coaching partner, delivering a large range of junior programs at PARK – The Gap for children aged 3–17. Built on Tennis Australia’s Hot Shots pathway, the program scales court size, ball compression and racquet length to each child’s age and ability. This crucial partnership is aimed at delivering qualified, safety-checked coaches. The result is a junior tennis experience that feels premium, purposeful and distinctly “tennis knowledge designed”- while sitting naturally alongside pickleball and padel under the PARK brand.
The opportunity: more than court hire
One of PARK’s biggest opportunities sits outside traditional court bookings.
Corporate events are a major growth focus.
The appeal is simple. A tennis-only event can feel familiar. A pickleball or padel event offers something new. Put all three together, and suddenly everyone has an entry point.
NPL’s LADER technology and event software can support one-day tournaments, social competitions and community events, creating structured experiences without the complexity traditionally associated with running them.
The opportunity is bigger than sport.

PARK brings different sports, different people and different levels of experience together under one roof. A place where someone can pick up a paddle for the first time, return to tennis after years away, try padel with friends - or play all three in the same week.
PARK – The Gap is open.
