Fostering the best young Pickleball talent in Australia

The NPL Academy is designed to identify, nurture, and elevate the next generation of Pickleball stars, providing a clear pathway to professional play in the NPL Tour. This exclusive program selects just 10 athletes annually, ensuring the highest level of focus and support for Australia’s brightest rising talent.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: 15–22 years
     

  • Status: Student or University Athlete
     

  • Residency: Must reside in Australia (any state)

Program Aims

  • Develop and support Australia’s next generation of elite Pickleball players.
     

  • Provide access to the best coaching and mentorship in the country.
     

  • Create a clear pathway to the Professional NPL Tour.
     

  • Build a community of "next-generation" athletes as they grow in the sport.

Program Inclusions

  • Exclusive Training Days:

    • One-day program after every PWR event.

    • Includes a 2–3 hour coaching session led by NPL Ambassadors & Coaches.

  • Tournament Participation:

    • Play in tournaments with entry fees waived.

  • Official NPL Merchandise

    • Represent the league with pride.

  • Professional Exposure:

    • Athlete profile featured on the official NPL website.

    • Recognition as a contracted NPL Academy athlete.
