First Intake Announced - 2026
Introducing the inaugural class of the NPL Academy.
We're proud to announce the first 15 athletes selected for the 2026 NPL Academy - Australia's most promising young pickleball talent. These players will receive professional coaching from top NPL Pro Tour players and coaches, free tournament entry, official merch, and a clear pathway into the National Pickleball League.
Applications remain open for additional spots - if you think you've got what it takes, we want to hear from you.
Eligibility Criteria
- Aged 15-22 at time of application
- Must reside in Australia
- Committed to training & development
What You Get
- 4 coaching sessions (2 pre-tournament, 2 state-based)

Program Structure
Pre-Tournament Sessions
Full cohort sessions before major tournaments. 90-minute morning session, break for lunch, then a second 90-minute session - each focusing on different skills. Led by top NPL coaches.
State Sessions
Two sessions per state, run by local NPL Pro Tour players or coaches. 2-hour focused coaching sessions targeting 2-3 key skills, shots, or patterns. Designed for athletes in that state.
