Meanwhile, Mickie’s Comets have flipped the narrative entirely. Written off just weeks ago, they stormed back with two crucial wins and now carry genuine momentum into the final round.

Gold Standard

Victoria may have a new benchmark.

The Adders are building something formidable. Captain Matt K’s tactical shift—stepping back from mixed to allow Liam Jesperson to pair with Westbury—has unlocked a new level for the side. Add the inclusion of former Roo Kat Valos, and suddenly this lineup looks complete, dangerous, and deep.

But the race isn’t over.

Both Dangs are right behind them, applying constant pressure. If the Adders want to hold their position, they’ll need to keep delivering at the same high level.

Division 2 Watch

Across Division 2, the race to finals is just as compelling.

In VIC, the Roos are feeling the absence of Letha Gaigher, while Gabby May’s Adders close the gap. The 29ers continue to impress, with Ryan Lee and Ryan Hosseini in exceptional form, positioning themselves as genuine contenders. The Rangers, powered by MVP-level performances from Chanchai and Nat, have surged into relevance at the perfect time.

In NSW, Monique Burton is driving the Comets toward finals, but the Newcastle Stingers—led by Ryan Morris—remain in pursuit. And then there’s the wildcard: Adam Walters’ Bandicoots, coming off a perfect Round 5 and refusing to be counted out.

In QLD, the Burras have claimed top spot thanks to Grace Sorbello, but the fight is far from over.
