    About This Event

    An amateur pickleball tournament run by NPL and Leapmotor at The Jar HQ. It's built for everyday players - quality competition, a great community and a fun weekend for the whole family.

    Over $15,000 in prizes - every podium finisher wins:

    • 1st: 12-month The Jar membership, NPL league jumper + cap
    • 2nd: 6-month The Jar membership + cap
    • 3rd: 1-month The Jar membership + cap

    Doubles prizes are per player, so both partners win. Every division winner goes into the draw for a $500 Weekend Away with a Leapmotor Loan Car.

    You are. We have heaps of first-time tournament players - that's the whole purpose of this event. It's not a pro event.

    Pick the one that matches your level. Use your DUPR as a guide if you have one: Beginner - under 3.0. Intermediate - under 3.5. Intermediate Plus - under 4.5. Open - 4.5 and above. Not sure? Go Beginner. Singles runs in Intermediate and Intermediate Plus only.

    No. Just select the division you believe matches your skill level.

    Sign up anyway - there are already 20+ players in the same boat. When registering, enter dummy details for your partner, for example "John Smith, johnsmith@gmail.com" or "Lookingfor Partner, lookingforpartner@gmail.com". We'll be in touch to match you with a partner at your level. If we can't find you one, you get a full refund.

    Yes. Saturday is Men's and Women's Doubles, Sunday is Mixed Doubles and Singles - so you can play Mixed and Singles on the same day. Your first event is $60, your second $30 and your third $10.

    A division needs at least 4 entries (pairs, for doubles) to run, otherwise it's merged with another division. We're confident every division will run.

    Round robin, then finals. Every game is first to 15, you're guaranteed 3 games, and every match on both days counts towards your DUPR.

    Yes - refunds are available up until the event start date.

    Absolutely - bring everyone. Across the weekend there's the Leapmotor Centre Court (a free Learn Pickleball court, with paddles and balls provided), a Leapmotor sausage sizzle, food trucks, the bar and Leapmotor giveaways.
