NPL Announces Streamer as Official Streaming Partner for NPL S1

The National Pickleball League announces, Streamer, a premier Australian online streaming platform, as it’s official streaming partner for NPL Season 1 – Australia’s professional teams Pickleball league.

NPL Season 1 is the first ever professional teams Pickleball league in Australia, launching on March 2nd, 2024 with $100,000 of Prize Money.  NPL S1 will feature 18 teams with 6 players per team - 108 Players total. Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland will each have 6 teams each with the top 8 teams playing off in a Finals Series held at Australia’s #1 Indoor Facility – The Jar in Melbourne.

All Matches from each state will be live streamed and broadcast directly to the world class Streamer Platform for the 5 Rounds & Finals weekends. On every NPL S1 match-day, each team plays 2 matches across a 5 hour period, involving all 6 players in the team across a new teams based format – NPLeague™

In this new, unique Pickleball format, NPL teams will consist of 6 players – 3 males and 3 females, who will all be required to play in each match. Each match will consist of 4 sets + 1 potential tiebreaker – known as the Dill Breaker™. Each set is worth 1 point individually.

The NPL believes that the highest professional level of the sport must showcase both the athleticism & highlight plays of singles, with the strategy & precision of Doubles. NPLeague™ allows for the best players in the country to showcase the full range of their Pickleball skills.

NPL Season 1 schedule below:

ROUND 1: SAT MAR 2nd
ROUND 2: SAT MAR 16th
ROUND 3: SAT APR 6th

ROUND 4: SAT APR 27th

ROUND 5: SAT MAY 11th

FINALS: SAT JUNE 1st/SUN JUNE 2nd
